The role

This role is responsible for growing and building relationships with occupational therapists, physiotherapists and support people. You will work collaboratively with them to help assess, identify and install the most appropriate equipment to support their customers’ needs.

This role will be based in Christchurch and take you to a variety of locations and environments throughout the South Island. The role is autonomous in nature and requires a creative and practical hands-on approach.

Your skills

Ideally, you should have a background in understanding occupational therapy or a proven background in supporting customers’ care needs.

You will be energetic, engaging, and empathetic, and respect confidentiality.  You must have a strong understanding of occupational therapy and are confident in working with people at all stages of life that present with a variety of physical, cognitive and mental health conditions.

You’re a team player and have amazing communication skills.  With high attention to detail and helpful personality, you will enjoy the challenge of working to deadlines in a fast-paced environment, and above all, you will have a sincere passion for delivering the highest level of customer care and support.

Skills and experience needed for this role:

·         Minimum 3 years of experience in a related role;

·         Proven knowledge of patient care and working alongside therapists;

·         Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal;

·         The ability to work autonomously whilst being a team player;

·         A high level of energy and the organisational skills to successfully deal with a varied workload.

·         Clean driver licence and a confident driver
