As a leading provider of healthcare solutions, Cubro exists to help New Zealanders to live quality lives. Our core business involves working with Public and Private Hospitals, Aged Care providers, Occupational Therapists, and Physiotherapists.

We have big aspirations and are looking for an experienced marketing and communications specialist to join our tight-knit team.

Based at our HQ in Tauranga, you’ll be in prime position to take full advantage of our golden beaches and enjoy a little more smashed avo on toast.


The role

In this dynamic, newly created role, you will take responsibility for driving and delivering our marketing and communications strategies for one of our core markets across New Zealand, including research, advertising and promotions, events, trade shows and brand development.

You will have a strong focus on developing multi-channel marketing campaigns that support our strategies for acquisition, retention, and growth across a diverse customer base.

Supported by the Head of Marketing and Communications and an energetic team, you’ll help ensure we execute all our campaigns to the highest possible standards.


What will your day look like?

  • Develop and implement marketing plans that drive directly impact business performance
  • Oversee the delivery of nationwide marketing and communications campaigns
  • Develop and implement brand and product marketing strategies
  • Continually optimise customer communications based on feedback and competitor analysis
  • Lead and support strategic and digital production projects, providing both a product lens and customer voice
  • Analyse customer data and insights translating these into marketing actions
  • Help to lead and inspire a passionate team


What we are looking for?

You’ll have a proven ability to formulate and deliver go-to-market strategies by understanding the situational challenges of diverse national markets. Creative thinking and channel execution are important skills to have, and you will be comfortable working in multi-stakeholder environments.  

You'll have had at least 7 years exposure to the complete marketing mix, including direct marketing, product marketing and digital production oversight.

Ideally, we are looking for someone with previous experience in the health sector.

A can-do and humble attitude is vital – although this is a senior role, you must be willing to jump in to help our team execute all areas of the marketing mix.  You will be independently resourceful, yet above all else, you’ll love pursuing team success.

You’ll have strong presentation and communication skills, with a confident ability to present strategic and operational direction and secure commitment from external and internal stakeholders at all levels.

  • Able to quickly comprehend all the dynamics at play in a fast-moving complex consumer environment and carve a path to deliver results
  • Be a fantastic communicator, both written and verbal
  • Experience in the health sector is desirable
